About the Tufted Titmouse

The Tufted Titmouse is a small, soft-gray songbird with a prominent crest and large dark eyes. Common in woodlands and backyard feeders, it moves actively through branches, often hanging briefly while searching for seeds and insects. Its clear, whistled song is a familiar sound throughout much of the eastern United States.
