Capturing the beauty, grace, and majesty of birds in their natural habitats
For me, bird photography is about more than documentation—it's about connection. I strive to capture birds in a way that tells a story: natural behavior, beautiful light, a sense of place, and a moment that feels alive. I love the creative process that follows each outing, shaping my images into finished pieces that reflect both the bird and the experience of finding it. Through this website, I hope to share not only the photographs, but the sense of wonder that keeps me heading out the door before sunrise.
Finding wonder in wings, light, and fleeting moments.
After 45 years in retail management, retirement gave me the gift of time—and the chance to fully dive into photography, my lifelong passion. While I've always enjoyed landscapes, macro, and wildlife, everything changed three years ago when I went to a local park to photograph Bald Eagles, my spark bird. That single morning opened my eyes to the incredible variety of birds all around me. Since then, I've photographed more than 400 species and traveled across the U.S.—from northern Maine to Texas, Florida, California, and beyond—always chasing light, moments, and new discoveries.
